Validity
The validity is only varied in two cases which are as belows as per the RTA official portal.
- The personalised Nol card validity is 5 years for everyone.
- In case of Student : After the end of the year, the card charges the regular fare without the 50% discount, unless the customer applies again for a student nol card if he is still eligible. 1 year renewable concession period is there for students.

To apply the personal Nol card In Dubai UAE thorugh RTA Website ,please follow the steps below :
Step 1
Visit RTA website (link given below) or Download RTA Dubai Smart app (link given below) .
Step 2
Select “Public Transport Services” from the services list .
Step 3 Choose Apply for a personal card
Select “Apply for a personal Nol card” in the nol card filter (Link given below) to get the direct link and click on the Apply now button.
Step 4 Fill application form
Fill all the required details in application form of personal card which includes type of the card, category, personal information, Emirates ID information, contact information and address.
Step 5 Documents Upload
Uplaoding all your required documents on the RTA Portal and click submit.
Step 6 Pay fees
Check the fees according to your category listed above and pay the fees by any of the preferred payment channel.
Step 7 Recieves SMS
You will recieve the application confirmation status and refrence number through SMS for further updates .You will recieve the status of your card on your registered mobile number thorugh out the process.
Step 8 Wait for delivery
You will recieve your card within four (04) working days from the date of submission.

- After you recieve your personal nol card ,just tap the Nol card on the check in gate starting the journey and check out after finshing.Your card will be activated.
Important rules to know before applying personal nol card in dubai UAE
- For senior Age cards ,the customers age must be 60 yrs and above.
- In case of long name,only first and last name will be printed.
- Only adults are eligible to apply in Zoom shops through nol express service.
- If the card was lost or stolen, the cardholder is responsible for any usage on his card for a period of 48 hours, which starts from the moment he notifies RTA that the card was stolen or lost. RTA will not be responsible for the available balance on the card until 48 hours have passed.
- Returned /uncollected personal nol cards are blocked without refund if the customer did not claim them within 30 working days.
